Welcome to Sessions with Sumiyad. These Terms of Service outline the conditions under which our online therapy services are provided. By booking a session or purchasing a membership, you agree to these terms.
Services
We offer the following online therapy services:
Single Session
60-minute online therapy session
600 AED per session
Suitable for occasional support or one-off consultations
Monthly Sessions (Membership)
1 session per month — 550 AED
Includes:
One 60-minute online session
Two check-ins via WhatsApp or email
Priority booking
Additional sessions available at a discounted member rate (15% off the standard single session fee)
Twice Monthly Sessions (Membership)
2 sessions per month — 1,050 AED
Includes:
Two 60-minute online sessions
Two check-ins via WhatsApp or email
Priority booking
Additional sessions available at a discounted member rate (15% off the standard single session fee)
All sessions are conducted online via video conferencing.
Membership Terms
Memberships require a minimum 3-month commitment.
Membership benefits (check-ins, priority booking, member rate) apply only during the active membership period.
Members may book up to 3 additional sessions per month at the discounted member rate (15% off the standard single session fee).
Unused sessions do not roll over to the following month.
After the initial 3-month commitment, memberships continue on a month-to-month basis until cancelled in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Booking and Scheduling
Sessions are booked via our website or by contacting us directly.
All sessions are 60 minutes in duration and take place online.
Members receive priority when scheduling appointments.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection and a private, quiet space for your session.
Payment Terms
All fees are quoted and payable in AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham).
Single sessions: Payment is due at the time of booking.
Memberships: Payment is due at the beginning of each monthly billing cycle.
Accepted payment methods will be displayed at the time of booking.
Prices are subject to change with 30 days' written notice to active clients and members.
Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
Attend scheduled sessions on time
Provide honest and accurate information relevant to your therapy
Give informed consent before beginning therapy
Communicate openly if you wish to change or end the therapeutic relationship
Respect the cancellation and rescheduling policies outlined in our Cancellation and Refund Policy
Ensure a private, safe environment for online sessions
Therapist Responsibilities

Providing professional, ethical therapy services within their scope of practice
Maintaining confidentiality as outlined in our Privacy Policy
Continuing professional development and adhering to relevant professional standards
Communicating clearly about the therapeutic process, its benefits, and its limitations

Limitations of Liability
Please be aware that:
Therapy is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately.
Therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment. We do not provide medical diagnoses or prescribe medication.
Outcomes are not guaranteed. Therapy is a collaborative process, and results depend on many factors including your engagement and commitment.

Confidentiality
Everything discussed during therapy sessions is strictly confidential, with the following exceptions as required by law and professional ethics:

Professional consultation: Anonymous consultation with professional supervisors for the purpose of improving your care
You will be informed if confidentiality needs to be breached, wherever possible.
